The Mexico Summit on Anti-Corruption & Compliance Programs is set to address the evolving landscape of anti-corruption and regulatory compliance in Mexico. The event has been meticulously redesigned to equip attendees with essential strategies that align with the new enforcement priorities of the U.S. Department of Justice, particularly in light of the FCPA Division's decision to label major cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs). This decision has introduced significant changes affecting compliance departments within Mexican multinationals, compelling them to navigate through uncharted territories in their operational frameworks. Given the urgency and importance of these developments, the conference presents a pivotal opportunity for legal and compliance professionals to enhance their understanding and responses to these challenges. The summit will feature a diverse audience including Corporate Compliance and Investigations Advisors, General Counsels, Legal Directors, Regulatory Compliance Directors, and VPs or Directors specializing in Anti-Corruption, Regulatory Compliance, and Ethics. Additionally, professionals from law firms, investigative bodies, and accounting firms will participate, enhancing the collaborative atmosphere of the event. Exhibitors such as Grupo Bimbo SA de CV will showcase their approaches and best practices to strengthen due diligence, oversight, and compliance with anti-corruption regulations affecting third-party and supply chain relationships. As the event takes place in Mexico City, it is positioned strategically to attract attendees from key regions, including Mexico and Nigeria, reflecting its international relevance.
