Mexican Nichos Workshop with Mosaicoarte at Casa Hernandez Community Space

Join Logan Square native Norma Rios- Sierra (Mosaicoarte) in turning aluminum cans into Mexican Nichos. Nichos are traditionally used to hold devotional items and trinkets. Norma is an experienced artist and teacher with a specialty in mosaic arts, stained glass!

We will be using old aluminum cans, pens and markers. All materials provided just come as yourself!

This workshop is apart of our Art in Action workshop series, sponsored by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events' Neighborhood Access Program. This event is hosted at Casa Hernandez Community Space and Free Store.
