METROLIGHT
In the ever-evolving landscape of indie electronic music, Metrolight embraces a wide range of influences.
Drawing inspiration from the timeless charm of 80's electronic pop and the infectious beats of 90's electronic dance music, Metrolight crafts a sound that pays homage to their musical influences while remaining grounded in their own unique approach. Metrolight's sound is a captivating fusion of diverse elements - ethereal synthscapes, pulsating beats, and evocative melodies. Their songs weave intricate narratives that echo the raw emotional depth of Suicide, while simultaneously evoking the infectious dance vibes of a Donna Summer classic. It's a delicate balance of darkness and euphoria that takes the listener on a transformative sonic adventure.
Making their debut in 2022 with Copyright Strike, an EP of disparate cover songs, Metrolight quickly followed up with 12 original songs on their eponymous debut LP. As they gear up for the future, Metrolight shows no signs of slowing down. New releases are on the horizon, promising to showcase their artistic evolution and further solidify their position as front runners in the indie electronic landscape.
