ABOUT METANOIA
Metanoia is a nonprofit community development organization based in the heart of North Charleston's Chicora-Cherokee neighborhood. Founded in 2002, Metanoia works alongside local families and leaders to create lasting change through youth leadership development, affordable homeownership, and economic opportunity.
Guided by a core belief in the brilliance that already exists within the community, Metanoia listens constantly, builds on local strengths, and walks with families to amplify what's possible—transforming once-disinvested neighborhoods into places where people can be here and live well.
