This one day course is designed to teach you how to design, conduct, interpret, and publish a robust systematic review and meta-analysis that is compliant with the PRISMA guidelines. The course is structured in a station-based format, and individuals will receive guidance and supervision with practical examples on the following:

• How to go about choosing a topic
• Literature search strategy
• Selection of articles using an inclusion / exclusion criteria
• How to extract data efficiently using an extraction sheet
• Synthesis and analysis of data using Revman
• Performing a Risk of Bias (RoB) assessment to evaluate the quality of selected articles
• Manuscript writing to combine all the above component to form a whole research paper
• Submission of your research paper to a journal
