The apprenticeship
- 8 months, Level 2 HCSW
- Based at Maghull Health Park, working across Mersey Care's Secure Division
- Weekly college sessions at Hugh Baird College
- Hands-on experience in secure mental health and learning disability services
Pay and progression
- Band 2 starting salary: £25,272 (plus possible enhancements)
- On completion, potential progression to Band 3 Nursing Assistant (£25,760)

Eligibility
- Must not already hold a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification or apprenticeship
- Must have been in the UK for 3 years or more
- Visa must be valid for the course length plus 6 months
