Mentor North Track & Field Fun Day with UWS Yellowjacket Athletes!Ever wondered what it's like to throw a javelin, race down a track, or try a long jump? Here's your chance to find out!
Join Mentor North and University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) track & field athletes for an afternoon of trying new things, getting active, and having fun! UWS student athletes will demonstrate different track & field activities and then invite youth to give them a try -- with some fun, youth-friendly adaptations along the way!
Never tried track & field? That's OK! Whether you're brand new, curious to see what it's all about, or already love sports and being active, there's a place for you. You can jump in and try the activities, give a modified version a go, or simply watch, learn, and cheer others on. Activities can be adapted for different physical abilities and interests.
Plus, you'll get to meet and spend time with UWS college athletes!
