About this Event
Be the Difference: Mental Health First Aid Workshop
You don't have to be a mental health professional to make a difference in someone's life. Sometimes, knowing how to recognize the signs and offer support can change everything.
Join Be Natural Music Therapy & Wellness for a FREE Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Workshop, designed to equip adults with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to support other adults experiencing mental health or substance use challenges.
Just as CPR teaches you how to assist someone experiencing a physical health emergency, Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognize warning signs, respond with compassion, and connect individuals to appropriate resources and professional support.
What You'll Learn
- How to identify signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.
- How to approach and support someone experiencing a mental health crisis.
- How to listen without judgment and offer reassurance.
- How to connect individuals with appropriate resources and professional help.
- How to help reduce stigma and create a more supportive community.
