Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is First Aid for people experiencing emotional or mental distress, including support for people experiencing suicidal feelings. It is aimed at saving lives, improving responses to those in distress and to making our society more compassionate. MHFA is an Internationally acclaimed training course and is accredited in the UK by the Royal Society for Public Health.

This is a two-day practical skills and awareness course designed to give you:

  • A deeper understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect people’s wellbeing
  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
