Mental Health First Aid (Adult)

This 8-hour certification course teaches people teaches how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges.

2 hours online course work and 6 hours in-person training

• The ALGEE Action Plan: Use a 5-step action plan to assess risks, listen non-judgmentally, and give reassurance.

• Connect to Care: Guide individuals toward appropriate local professional, peer, and self-help resources.
