Men’s Pie Club is organised by Newcastle-based social enterprise Food Nation, with funding from Movember. We came up with Men’s Pie Club in response to the increasing need for social connections, particularly for men who are at greater risk of becoming socially isolated.Because life isn’t always easy, but making pies is. Getting together for a pie and a chat is the perfect way for us guys to get out of the house and look after our physical and mental health. If we were using fancy terms, we’d say it’s about tackling isolation and improving social connectedness. And it is. But it’s also just about baking pies and making friends.
We meet at Whitley Bay Big Local
2pm - 4pm Mondays and 1pm - 3pm Thursdays
