Your favourite jeans have a hole and they’ve been lurking in the mending pile for far too long… let’s get them back in use!
Join us at White Weft Studios for a relaxed, hands-on mending workshop with Janelle Hanna, denim designer, repairist, and author of Jean Jeanius. Janelle will show you how to restore and revive your denim using just a needle, thread, and a few simple techniques.
You’ll learn three essential stitches that create strong, long-lasting repairs — or can be used for creative customisations. Bring your own jeans to fix, or work on a sampler using the materials provided.
Along the way, you’ll pick up plenty of inspiration for future projects from our sample library, and enjoy a few hours of mindful mending with a friendly bunch of fellow fixers.
