About this Event

Got something in your closet that needs mending? Haven't got round to it yet, or not sure how to?

Chicago Fair Trade's invites you to a beginner-friendly DIY mending masterclass! Learn how to extend the useful life of your clothing while enjoying fair trade snacks and our autumnal cocktail we're calling "the Re-Pear!"

Join the fight against fast fashion at our Mend with Friends workshop!

How does it work? Just book your ticket and show up! Needles and thread, plus other mending materials, will be provided. You are welcome to bring along any items of clothing you want to learn how to mend. If you don't have anything that needs fixing now, we'll have some fabric scraps and old clothing you can practice on.

Ticket prices: $10; free for Chicago Fair Trade members (contact us for the discount code). Interested in becoming a Chicago Fair Trade member? and purchase your year-long membership as a ticket!
