Kelsi’s family has respectfully decided to have a private, family only funeral specifically with her babies in mind to keep it as underwhelming as possible for them. We are hosting a Memorial for her for any friends, co workers, (family is welcome too!) to come honor her, share stories, and lean on each other if needed.
We ask that everyone brings a candle if possible, to light upon arrival. But we don’t want just any candle. We want the most off the wall, ridiculous candles you can find, because that is exactly what Kelsi would want 🤣 Or one that has special meaning, or possibly an inside joke you had with Kels.
The Memorial will be held at the pavilion at Vandercook Lake park, starting at 6pm. We’ll have some music playing, and plan to do a prayer of some sort and then open it up to anyone that wants to tell any stories. If people don’t want to share and want to have private conversations with friends there, that’s fine too!
This is going to be very informal and laid back. Please feel free to bring snacks/drinks, chairs/blankets, pictures to share etc.
