Distance: 1.5 miles
Enjoy a peaceful morning of hiking and painting at the stunning CREW Marsh Trails. After a brief hike to the Observation Tower, participants will craft their own watercolor memories of the marsh. Patty Chiappo, artist and devoted CREW Trust Volunteer, will give a brief introduction to watercolor painting and then inspire you to paint your own creation while overlooking the 5,000-acre marsh.
We will provide all the supplies so just bring your creativity and appreciation for nature’s beauty!
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or this is your first time using water colors, you will leave with beautiful, one of a kind artwork.

Things To Know:
A 1.5 mile round-trip hike on grassy, sometimes uneven terrain is required for this program
Climbing 20 wooden stairs are required to reach the top of the Observation Tower
Comfortable hiking shoes and clothing are recommended. Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and plenty of drinking water are also recommended

Info: This is the time to sign your liability waiver, use the restroom, apply sunscreen & bug spray, check out a CREW Trust walking stick, and ensure you have everything you need. Participants are required to sign CREW Trust's liability waiver, which includes a photo release.
