Add to your essential woodworking skills with precision CNC routing.
From intricate wood carvings and custom signage to precision construction, a CNC router transforms raw materials into finished products with unmatched speed, accuracy, and precision. In this session you’ll learn about material preparation, router bit selection, and the use of VCarve Pro to design a simple CNC project. We’ll walk through all the steps needed to transfer the design to the CNC equipment and have it complete the project.
A set of class notes will be provided to you. You’re not required to bring your own computer to the class but may if you wish. Of course, eye, hearing and dust masks are required (some will be available for your use) and please dress appropriately for shop work. This training satisfies the requirements for you to be able to use the CNC router in the Inventor Center.
