Start the new year with a little dreaming, planning, and creative inspiration at our January Member Meet-Up!
This month, we're kicking off the year with Vision Boarding for Creatives, an evening to think about what you want more of in your creative life this year. Maybe you want to make more often, finally try a new medium, finish the projects you've been putting off, grow your creative business, take more creative risks, or simply make space for creativity without worrying about where it leads.
We'll spend some time reflecting on what we want our creative year to look and feel like, then turn those ideas into a visual board filled with images, words, colors, textures, and inspiration.
The Makery will provide magazines and basic vision boarding supplies, but feel free to bring anything you'd like to incorporate: favorite images, photographs, quotes, scraps of paper or fabric, old magazines, or anything else that feels inspiring to you.
And because this is a Member Meet-Up, there is no "right" vision for the year and no pressure to make a perfectly polished board. This is simply a chance to slow down, think about what you want to create, and spend an evening dreaming alongside other creative people.
