About this Event
Join artist Jayne Roth at Highlandtown Gallery for a hands-on jewelry-making workshop.
You'll create a unique beaded necklace similar to the sample shown using a variety of internationally made glass and bone beads with a sterling silver clasp. You'll choose the bead colors and styles to make a truly one-of-a-kind piece you'll be proud to wear. The finished necklace also makes a great gift for someone special.
Mimosas and pastries are included as part of your workshop fee.
Participants in the class will learn the crimping technique vital to clasp attachments.
Your finished necklace will measure approximately 33β and can be worn as a single or double strand.
Additional sterling silver beads will be available for purchase during class. All other materials are included.
Ages 12+
In conjunction with the class, Jayne will also host a "trunk show" featuring a special selection of her jewelry collection for purchase.
Learn more about Jayne Roth's work on her website, Blind Bliss Jewels. The Highlandtown Gallery also offers many of her fine jewelry pieces both in-store and in our online shop.
