About this Event
We invite you for an evening of transformation through dance, live music and electronics in Amsterdam. “Melted Room” features "A Bubbles’ Dress" where dreams and reality intertwine; "There is this girl" a celebration of sisterhood and defying boundaries; and "Rite of Rumi" a ritualistic journey inspired by the full moon. Experience these stories of communal power, friendship, and inner rhythms on December 7th in 'Het Amsterdams Theaterhuis'.

Description: Focusing on the power of sisterhood, this performance creates a playground free of societal constraints. The performers embrace flaws, laugh together, and support each other, inspiring the audience to trust their instincts and cherish companionship. Transformation is shown through evolving friendships, physical forms, and movements, highlighting the fluidity of personal connections.
“Rite of Rumi” - Creators: Lisa Schreiber, Kanoko Takeuchi
Description: Inspired by the full moon, this piece takes viewers on a ritualistic journey celebrating the sensuality of being and the cyclical nature of inner emotions. Transformation is portrayed through stages of inner rhythm and emotional experiences, urging the audience to embrace their changing selves.
