🎶 18. ročník medzinárodného festivalu Melos-Étos otvorí etablovaný rakúsky súbor Platypus Ensemble. Dramaturgia večera je postavená na princípe kontrastu – od najintímnejších a najkrehkejších zvukových polôh až po divokosť, nepokoj a výrazovú dravosť. V programe sa tento princíp odráža v hudbe Yanna Robina a Bernharda Gandera, vo fantastickom svete Olgy Neuwirth či v jemných a krehkých zvukových krajinách Kaije Saariaho a Caroly Bauckholt. Výrazne kontrastné charakterové polohy prinášajú aj Béla Bartók a György Kurtág, ktorý v roku 2026 oslávil sté výročie narodenia. Dramaturgický oblúk večera doplní dielo mladého slovenského skladateľa Mareka Fóru.The 18th edition of the Melos-Étos International Festival will be opened by the established Austrian ensemble, the Platypus Ensemble. The programme for the evening is built on the principle of contrast – ranging from the most intimate and delicate soundscapes to wildness, restlessness and expressive ferocity. In the programme, this principle is reflected in the music of Yann Robin and Bernhard Gander, in the fantastical world of Olga Neuwirth, and in the delicate and fragile soundscapes of Kaija Saariaho and Carola Bauckholt. Béla Bartók and György Kurtág, who celebrated the centenary of his birth in 2026, also present markedly contrasting musical styles. The evening’s programme will be rounded off by a work by the young Slovak composer Marek Fóra.
