The ridiculously exciting format of backyard ultras, returns to the heart of Melbourne's Frontyard. Right in the playgrounds of the parklands around Melbourne City, a 6.71k loop has been created for you to run on the hour, every hour, as far as you can go.The format has become a world wide phenomenon and this is the 5th backyard ultra in the stable annually for Ultra Series.
Starting at 4pm on the Saturday morning, this will go into the days and nights ahead until we have just one runner standing.
'It's like a rave with some running' is a common description of the famous Ultra Series backyard collection and this newest addition is certain to instantly grow to one of the biggest in Australia with it's central and perfect location.
