Meghan Dowlen is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer from Atlanta, GA, crafting bold, shape-shifting pop that lives in the tension between brute force and vulnerability. Her music explores the duality of femininity with theatrical flair and emotional precision, unafraid to be soft, furious, ecstatic, or strange.
Her latest album, Dizzy Spell, nods to dance pop and new-wave traditions while staking out a voice entirely her own. Glossy hooks collide with glam-punk bite, striking a chord with pop obsessives, art-rock romantics, and music nerds alike. Channeling the theatrical daring of Kate Bush and the vocal dexterities of Nina Hagen, Dowlen leads audiences through joy, anger, mystery, and release - often all within the same song.
Her live performances are electric and unpredictable. As CULTMTL wrote of her POP Festival set: “Dowlen opened, and what I assumed would be background sound quickly became the main event: her voice soared, unguarded and commanding, her presence electric and unfiltered.”
Dowlen’s work has been featured as Stereogum’s “Album of the Week,” highlighted on NPR’s All Songs Considered and New Music Friday, and spun on KEXP’s Rotation playlist - cementing her as an artist who doesn’t just reference pop history, but actively bends it into something thrillingly new.

Absolute Treat (FKA Dilettante) is a Toronto-based pop group blending disco, rock, and R&B into a dynamic, danceable sound. Led by queer artists Natalie Panacci (vocals) and Julia Wittmann (vocals; guitar), the band crafts shimmering, groove-heavy anthems that recall the best of ‘70s and ‘80s pop while staying fresh and modern. Their debut album Dilettante released in 2022. Since then, the group has opened for acclaimed Canadian artists including The Darcys, Marci, and Born Ruffians. Absolute Treat’s latest EP Shattered Love came out via Victory Pool on May 14th, 2025.
