Meetinghouse Arts presents: Fiddle‑icious, Maine’s largest community fiddle orchestra, where over 100 musicians of all ages and skill levels join forces to perform lively reels, jigs, waltzes, and songs passed down from Scottish, Irish, Quebecois, and Acadian traditions! This performance will have you tapping toes, clapping hands, and smiling—an authentic celebration of tradition, fellowship, and infectious energy!
About the Artist
Fiddle-icious is a community-based orchestra, open to all ages, abilities, and instruments. National Heritage Award winning fiddler, Don Roy, founded the group twenty-five years ago and still leads us today! Together we listen, learn, play, and perform traditional tunes, dances, and songs passed down from Scottish, Irish, Quebecois, and Acadian ancestors. Currently we have more than 100 players of fiddle, accordion, mandolin, flute, guitar, banjo, cello, and bass. Please join us by attending one of our concerts.
