What if you could meet your painting subject before you ever picked up a paintbrush?Join Arts N Tails and Irish Acres Farm for a one-of-a-kind experience inside a real working dairy farm in Brooksville, Florida.
You’ll spend the morning alongside Farmer Mark getting an up-close look at farm life—from meeting the animals and exploring the fields, gardens and chicken area to learning about the cows, milking process, milk room and the journey from farm to table. You’ll have opportunities for hands-on animal interaction and to experience parts of the farming process for yourself, while hearing stories about farming, Florida and American history along the way.
Then we’ll head back to the barn, where the experience goes from farm to canvas.
You’ll choose your favorite animal from a collection of watercolor outlines created from real animals you’ve just met on the farm—and create your own painting to take home.
Maybe you’ll paint a cow.
Maybe the farm cat steals your heart.
Maybe it’s the pig.
Or perhaps one of the chickens becomes your muse.
You won’t know until you meet them.
While you paint, enjoy a selection of light refreshments featuring farm-sourced cheese, baked goods, fruit, tea and water, all while taking in the beautiful open views of the Irish Acres fields.
And because this is Meet Your Moos…
a real cow will join us during the painting experience for guests to meet, pet and enjoy! (Plus one-of-a-kind photo opportunities)
This is more than a farm tour. More than a painting class.
It’s a chance to slow down, get your hands dirty, meet the animals, learn where your food comes from, and turn an unforgettable evening on the farm into something you can take home.
Meet the animals. Experience the farm. Paint your memories.
Limited to just 15 guests. Advance registration required.
