You asked us to let you know the next time we were going to Ghana. Well, this is your invitation.Join Natalie Jackson and Ben Crump in Accra, Ghana, December 1 through 8, 2026, as we kick off Detty December with friends from across the U.S.
We’re planning a week of Ghanaian history and culture, great food, beaches, relaxation, shopping, Accra nightlife, group dinners, outings and plenty of time to simply enjoy Ghana.
Guests joining us will also receive an invitation to the exclusive official launch celebration of the Black Diaspora in America Collective (BDAC) in Accra.
THIS IS NOT A PAID TOUR OR TRAVEL PACKAGE.
Everyone is responsible for booking and paying for their own flights and hotel accommodations. We will post the flights and hotels we recommend so those who want to travel and stay together can do so.
Roundtrip economy airfare from Orlando to Accra has been starting at approximately $1,100, although airfare changes constantly and travelers should verify current prices before booking.
We recommend planning an overall travel budget of up to approximately $5,000 to $7,000 for the full experience. This is not the price of the trip. You may spend considerably less depending on your airfare, accommodations, activities and personal spending.
Most importantly: This is a vacation, not a field trip.
We’ll have a suggested itinerary and several opportunities to get together, but you are free to participate in as much or as little as you want.
