Join us to celebrate the authors of ! We are thrilled to present a collection of stories from incredible women in our latest book. These Business Divas hail from diverse industries, cultures, and stages of their entrepreneurial journeys—ranging from startup development to empire building, and even company sales. Their shared mission is to inspire women everywhere to pursue their purpose and achieve success through entrepreneurship.

Each author candidly shares her journey, revealing both triumphs and trials. As you delve into their narratives, you will find valuable lessons in their experiences and realize that you are not alone in your struggles. Their stories of perseverance and resilience are a testament to the shared journey of all entrepreneurs.

To wrap up all the amazing inspiration from these stories, we will conclude with a healing session of sound meditation, offering a moment of reflection and tranquility.

is a mathematician, philanthropist, entrepreneur, author, CEO of Guero Pallets, and founder of the Xcelerator Business Summit. Martha has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Applied Mathematics and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a focus on data and process mining. Martha Razo owns a book series, Business Diva, which features the stories of women entrepreneurs across the world.

Martha is your business and numbers expert. She has used her Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, along with 10 years of business experience, to build a national, multi-million dollar company. She has experience as a business owner and consultant working with clients around the nation in sectors like manufacturing and real estate.

If that is not enough, Martha is also an investor. One of Martha's notable recent endeavors that she takes great pride in is organizing the Xcelerator Business Summit, a business expo and summit, with over 300 business owners in attendance. Martha brought 35 eminent speakers from around the globe to speak on 20 different topics. The goal of the Xcelerator Business Summit was to bring the information, resources, and networking opportunities that business owners need to have a strong business foundation to accelerate their business growth.

Xcelerator Business Summit is scheduled for this year on October 3-4. Martha aspires to empower business owners and entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.participate in this disruptive new technology.

in Chicago, Illinois with her husband and three beautiful daughters. She is the
President and CEO of Makeup Galore Inc., a beauty company that sells
carefully curated makeup and cosmetics for Latina women and those who love
the Latino culture.

She is on a mission to help increase women’s confidence through makeup, and to inspire other women entrepreneurs. Her passion has led to her being a contributing author on the recently published book, Business Diva, and to take on public speaking. She was a business coach for the 6-week course “Power of Numbers” and recent special guest on KCAA Radio 102.3 FM/106.5 FM/1050 AM, a coverage area of five million people.
When Elizabeth is not running her business, coaching, public speaking, or writing she is working in the banking industry, where she has held various professional positions for the last 17 years. She holds degrees in International Business from Bethune-Cookman University and a Masters in Finance from the University of Arizona. She is a member of the Women’s Institute of Self Development & Efficacy, Sigma Alpha Iota Musical Fraternity and recently participated in IC U/Latinas cohort 3.

Elizabeth is committed to community service and leading volunteer efforts both in her corporate role and as a business owner. She believes in giving back and supporting our community, especially our underserved communities.

“Hi, my name is Sofia.

A little bit about me…

I am Mexican-American. I lived with my grandparents who played a huge part in my life. I grew up speaking Spanish and English in my household. One of the most important things they taught me is to be proud of your roots.

I have always loved photography since I was young. I remember when my Abuelitos (grandparents) had this big box filled with old family photos. My family and I would sit around a table looking at the pictures for hours saying things like "Look, this is your Tio and this Tia, or this your cousin”.

We would all recall the day a particular photo was taken or whether it was for a big event or vacation or just random school photos. The point is, these special gatherings were all made possible by photos.

It was fun to look at photos of family members when they were young and compare how they look today. “Wow”, I would say. “You have not changed a bit” or “You all looked like Abuelita (grandma) when you were younger.”

Fast forward to when I was 18 years old, and I was taking photography classes in college and I fell in love with photography…soon after I was given my very own camera. That's where everything started.

I started taking pictures of my family and friends. But, then I started to venture out into different neighborhoods in Chicago. It was after a couple of years (and thousands of pictures), that I decided to start my business. So, here I am.
