Take a break from the light parade and stop into Fables Books for a special Meet the Authors event during November First Friday!
From 6–8 p.m., meet three Indiana authors whose books span a wide variety of topics, from an introspective memoir to a biography of a Vietnam War reporter to an epic fantasy novel.
📘Myron Bontrager, author of Sinking in Plain Sight, is a former pastor and retired coffee shop owner from Goshen, Indiana.
Myron and his wife, Dana, have two sons and six grandchildren. He enjoys cycling, exploring new places, meeting people and hearing their stories, as well as good conversation over great coffee.
📘Ryan Null, author of the Flare Chronicles, an award-winning international author, began his writing journey in 8th grade, inspired by his love for reading and a teacher’s role modeling. Outside of writing, he balances running a book distribution business, building projects, engaging in men’s ministry at his church, and Friends of the Princeton, Indiana Library.
📘Ray E. Boomhower, author of the Wallace Terry biography, is senior editor at the Indiana Historical Society Press, where he edits the quarterly popular history magazine Traces of Indiana and Midwestern History. He is the acclaimed author of twenty books, including biographies about some of the country’s finest war correspondents such as Ernie Pyle, Richard Tregaskis, and Malcolm W. Browne.
Authors will be available to chat, sign books, and meet readers from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Come warm up, browse the shelves, and add a local literary stop to your First Friday adventure. No registration required—just stop in and say hello!
