Join us as Terri Bailey shares from her book which preserves the essence of historically Black neighborhoods in Gainesville, Florida, through the stories, photos, and memories of those who grew up in the city's various Black communities. A book sharing the stories of those who came of age in the bosom of Black neighborhoods in her Florida city was a great and timely idea. Additionally, utilizing her poetry and the artwork of Printmaker and Muralist Turbado Marabou, Bailey attempts to give voice to communities affected by gentrification.
