Come to Carden on October 10th to discover Sydney Munns! Sydney Munns is a self-taught artist born and raised in the Bismarck-Mandan area. She has demonstrated a deep appreciation for art (both admiring and creating) since early childhood, and has always been known by her family to be “the artsy one”, often spending time drawing lots of animals (particularly horses).
Sydney has spent much of her life focusing on drawing in broad categories, some of which include zentangle-style doodles and gesture-drawn faces from one continuous line. In 2025, she decided to give block printing another try after being unsure of it for nearly a decade. In the last year, Sydney has cultivated a newfound love for the print-making process, visual presentation, and “one of a kind” aspect for each printed piece. She spends much of her free time outside of her healthcare role experimenting in her home studio with printing different pattern combinations, “collage-style” arrangements, animals, and landscapes. Her cat Ferguson often keeps her company when creating, as well as her José González playlist!
Come for the art, stay for the good time. Saturday, October 10th, from 10:00-2:00. Snacks to be provided
