About this Event
It's hard to meet new people after 30.
A lot of ourselves end up asking the same question: where am I meant to meet friends as an adult? We're here to provide that space, and ease some of the pressure that can go along with putting yourself out there.
Join us on The Deck at Welcome to Thornbury, where we'll have speed friending rounds to get you warmed up and chatting to a bunch of new people.
The venue has food trucks, an arcade room, and a few bars to enjoy.
We'll also be bringing some party games for those who prefer chatting over an activity. You can opt in or out as you please.
Whether you come alone or bring some friends, our aim is to help you feel more connected by the time you leave.
What to expect:
- Name tags upon checkin
- 10 minute speed friending rounds at random, in groups of 4~
- A friendly host to greet you and make introductions easier
- Optional party games (like Uno, Jenga, Exploding Kittens, Werewolf etc)
