## **WTF is a Meet Market**The Meet Market is the anti-app. Application-only, phones checked at the door, open bar the first hour. We build the room by hand so everyone in it is single, in their late 20s or 30s.
This one is the Warren Miller pregame, for the skiers and snowboarders of Boston. The people with an Ikon or Epic pass they’ll absolutely justify again this year, a group chat already debating Stowe vs. Sugarloaf, and a goggle tan they’re weirdly proud of. Grab a drink, meet someone, then go watch people huck cliffs on the big screen.
## **WHAT’S INCLUDED**
Your ticket includes:
- A curated room of approved applicants, roughly 50/50 men to women.
- Open bar for the first hour
- Phone check at the door
- The Wall of Love Letters, for anyone too shy to walk up.
- Conversation cards, cheeky icebreakers
- Ticket does not include Warren Miller film ticket, sold separately
## **HOW IT WORKS**
You apply. We read every application and build the room by hand for age, intent and balance. You’re only charged if you’re accepted. The neighborhood, date and time are public. The exact venue is not. It lands in your inbox 24 hours before the doors open. The room is the one thing we don’t crowdsource. At the door: check in, take a number, hand over your phone, pick up a menu. Phones go into a numbered envelope behind the counter and come back at the end of the night.
**THE LIST DOES NOT GET RELEASED**\
No post-event contact sheet. No mutual-match email. No second chance. If you want to see someone again, you have to ask while you’re standing in front of them. Worst case, you sit next to them at the film. That’s the whole design. The sting of not asking is a feature.
## **WHO THIS IS FOR**
Single people in their late 20s and 30s in greater Boston. Ambitious, over the apps, and still actually looking. Skiers, snowboarders, and anyone who plans their winter around a powder forecast. You don’t have to send double blacks. You just have to be the kind of person who’d rather spend a Saturday on a chairlift than on Hinge. You have to be single to apply. This isn’t a mixer and it isn’t networking. Everyone in the room is there for the same reason, which is exactly why it works.
