Caramel Crisp Bookstore is proud to welcome local author Jim (Doc) Purtell on Saturday, November 21st (11 am to 2 pm). November is a month for remembrances: our Veterans on November 11th and the assassination of President John F Kennedy on November 22nd -- and Jim has written books in both realms! In his book, Vietnam, There and Back; A Combat Medic’s Chronicle, he tells the story of his experiences in-country during that chaotic time in our history. And in Lee Harvey Oswald - Patriot, Provocateur or Patsy, Jim does a deep dive into the career and life of the man we hold responsible for the death of one of our most revered presidents.
Don’t miss this opportunity to meet an author whose rich life experiences and meticulous research have led him to write these two amazing books!
