About this Event
Jonathan Martin brings three decades of Pacific Northwest journalism experience to his role as editor in chief of Cascadia Daily News. His career includes reporting and editing at The Spokesman-Review, The Seattle Times and Honolulu Civil Beat, covering state politics, homelessness and public corruption, and leading award-winning newsrooms. Now, he’s bringing that depth of experience and commitment to local journalism to the stories that matter most to Whatcom and Skagit communities.
This event is just as much about you getting to know Jonathan as it is about him getting to know you. Come ready to share story ideas and your vision for community-based news, and join us for a lively conversation led by Co-Managing Editor Audra Anderson about why Jonathan chose CDN and his commitment to thoughtfully curated, rigorous local news and information. It will be followed by an extensive Q&A.
Beverages and pizza will be available for purchase.
