A Guide to Ophthalmic Emergencies in Dogs and Cats presented by Shayna Sosnowik, DVM, DACVO®
This live interactive medical program for veterinary professionals will review common presentations of ophthalmic emergencies in dogs and cats including corneal ulcers, uveitis, hyphema, acute vision loss, anterior lens luxation, foreign bodies, and traumatic injuries. This course will provide an overview on ocular diagnostics, treatment options, and prognosis, as well as practical tips for performing an emergency ophthalmic examination.
Beyond the Glucose Curve: Bringing Diabetes Management into the Modern Era presented by Matthew E. Tonero, DVM, Residency Trained in Veterinary Internal Medicine
This live interactive medical program for veterinary professionals will review updates in diabetes mellitus management. This course will provide a clinical guide to navigate modern therapies and monitoring systems. Traditional and novel insulins will be highlighted, as well as once-daily sodium-glucose transport 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors in stable cats. In addition, this presentation will feature how to utilize a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to achieve long-term therapeutic success.
