Join us for a guided community walk through the Medlock Valley, exploring the area's rich natural landscapes, fascinating heritage and exciting plans for the future.
📅 Saturday 19th September
📍 Meet at Mayfield Park by the Freight Island entrance on Baring Street
⏰ Arrive by 10:30am for a prompt 10:40am departure
We'll enjoy an approximately 2.5-mile walk, taking in the stories, wildlife and history that make the Medlock Valley so special before arriving at Clayton Vale at around 1:00pm.
At the end of the walk, enjoy free tea, coffee and snacks at the Clayton Vale Tuck Shop. You're also welcome to bring a picnic lunch and relax in the beautiful surroundings of Clayton Vale after the walk.
