Join Brooke for a meditative sound journey, using sound and frequency to help you down regulate, followed by nourishing tea and catch ups.
About this Event

Surrender into a sensory experience of sound, allowing healing frequencies to wash over and soothe you, taking you into a place of deep meditation and relaxation.

I use a combination of electronic equipment and acoustic instruments. I’ve found that having a base layer of nature sounds, samples, pads and synths creates an immersive soundscape that helps the body to really relax and let go. Paired with live acoustic instruments, the sound then becomes something you can not only hear, but physically feel in your body.

The instruments I use vary from session to session, but will generally include voice, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, rainstick and harmonium.

After the sound journey, feel free to stay around and have a cup of tea with us and meet some like-minded community.

Please bring with you:

  • Yoga mat
  • Pillow/cushions/blankets - anything to make you feel super comfortable and cosy
  • Eye mask (optional, but recommended)
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to be able to breathe fully into your belly

We will begin at 4:30pm, and start with some light breath work and a short meditiation to help you transition into this relaxing space. Please arrive 5 minutes beforehand to get yourself set up. Please be on time, as the doors will close 5 minutes after start time to ensure a safe space for all participants.

What is a sound journey?

A sound journey (also called a sound bath or sound healing) is an inner journey guided by numerous sounds, all with varying frequencies and vibrations. These vibrations move through and around your physical and energetic body, which can allow you to drop into a deep meditative state. In this state you may feel your body melt into relaxation, where anxieties are eased. Some people use it as a chance to seek clarity on a decision they may have and find answers by tapping into your subconscious. Others may feel a strong emotional release.

Whatever comes up for you is totally ok in this safe space. Being open to receive and having a clear intention before going into the journey can help.

We achieve this state by using a combination of instruments that produce sounds that help to shift energy within your body including;

  • 432hz Crystal bowls
  • Voice
  • Tibetan bowls
  • Native American Flute
  • Chimes
  • Rainsticks
  • Rattles
  • And more

Benefits of a sound journey can include:

  • Balance and soothe the nervous system
  • Connecting to your inner world
  • Allowing yourself to process emotions
  • Relieve anxiety symptoms
  • Reduced stress
  • Feelings of joy, peace and calm
  • Better pain management
  • Improved sleep
  • Heightened clarity for decision making

About Brooke Zotti

Brooke Zotti is a sound healer, musician and ecstatic dance DJ based in Sydney. She has been a musician her whole life, growing up playing classical piano and in bands.

Her journey into sound healing came after years of meditation practices, Vipassana retreats and other spiritual ceremonies, where she began to experience the profound impact that music, frequency and sound can have within these spaces.

Brooke has completed her Diploma of Sound Healing in Spain and has studied with a number of sound healing teachers internationally.

She is incredibly passionate about holding spaces that are warm, welcoming and contained, so that transformation can occur. She loves using music and sound as a way to help people reconnect to their bodies and their spirit, and to explore how different frequencies can help move emotion through the system.
