On both Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25, the Wakefield Valley Park in Westminster, MD is hosting a medieval timeline event. Spanning the entire medieval period, from the Vikings to the end of the 15th century, living historians will be demonstrating the crafts and history of their period. For the Paston Project, we will be highlighting the production and economy of East Anglia in the second half of the 15th century, with a particular focus on the world of the Pastons. We will have demonstrations related to wool production, malting and brewing, bow-making, armor-production, and beekeeping. Travel back in time with us this weekend to discover what life was like in 15th century England!
