Have you ever bought an herb because you heard how wonderful it was… only to take it home and have absolutely no idea what to do with it?
This class is for you!
Herbs as Food is a hands-on introduction to incorporating herbs into the foods you already eat. Instead of focusing only on teas, tinctures, and supplements, we’ll explore practical—and tasty—ways to bring herbs into your everyday kitchen.
During class, you’ll rotate through hands-on stations where you will:
• Create your own herbal seasoning blend
• Make an herbal butter
• Make a dried-herb infused honey
• Taste and experiment with herbs in familiar everyday foods
• Learn about flavor pairings and easy ways to use herbs at home
• Discuss the difference between food-like culinary herbs and herbs that require more intentional use
Each participant will leave with three herbal creations to take home, recipes and our Herb Goblin’s Guide to Eating Your Herbs.
No previous herbal experience is needed. All supplies are included.
Come hungry, get your hands in the herbs, and discover how easy herbalism can be when it becomes part of dinner.
Don’t overhaul your life. Just eat the dang herb. 🌿
