This gathering is for anyone who wants to learn more about becoming a member of St. Luke's as well as folks who have been part of our family for awhile and want to renew their understanding of our parish/tradition and refresh their commitment to our community.
We will discuss:
- How we worship and why we do it that way
- The Episcopal Church – who we are and what we believe
- What it means to be a member of St. Luke's – privileges and responsibilities
GET THE BOOK!
Our time together will be structured around the book Those Episkopols by Dennis Roy Maynard. You can find it new and used at most bookstores. If you don't have the resources to buy the book, email Rev. Sara.
Come share your questions, knowledge, and thoughts. We will all learn from each other!
After completing the four gatherings, you’ll have the option of becoming a formal member or renewing your commitment to St. Luke’s. This can also serve as a Confirmation class if you have not been confirmed.
