Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Department of Performing Arts is excited to open the Mainstage theatre season with Tina Fey's "Mean Girls!"Based on the 2004 movie and the 2024 movie musical, "Mean Girls" tells the story of Cady Heron as she navigates the intricate social dynamics of high school. Featuring a cast of 31 students, over 150 custom costumes designed by MFA candidate Vicky Shlenova, and captivating original choreography by MFA Dance Choreography candidate S.C. Gildner, this production is truly brought to life by the incredible work of the students in the Department of Performing Arts.
"Mean Girls" runs October 1-3 and 8-10 at 7:30 p.m. and October 10 & 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ted Paul Theatre at the Earley Center for Performing Arts, Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Through October 11, patrons have an opportunity to take advantage of our season ticket package and see all 5 mainstage theatre productions plus 2 dance concerts for only $100.
Individual tickets are $28 regular, $25 for seniors ages 65 and older, children under 16 and groups of 15 or more; and $5 for MSU students.
