Join us for "Mead & Merriment" the first ever Central Illinois mead festival! Mead & Merriment - CU Mead Festival 2026 will be held on December 12th. You will enjoy unique, local and semi-local mead from Tree Hive, B Nectar, Unpossible, Wildwood Cellars, Fox’s Den, Honey Heist, and Small Memories Winery and Mead. Mead is the perfect wintertime sipper and makes a great gift for your loved ones. Purchase bottles on site and get access to selections that are hard to come by! There will be music, a photobooth, and a special “jolly” surprise appearance! Each guest will be provided with a tasting glass and voting sheet. Prizes will be awarded to a few lucky guests at the conclusion of the event.
General Admission ($50):
*6pm entry with all mead samples included.

* 5pm early entry with all general and many specialty mead samples.

*Private seating area and meet and greets with mead producers and meadery representatives.
*Access to purchase bottles of mead with special VIP bottles available.
