This Research in Conversation event will formally introduce the University of Huddersfield's new , highlighting its vision, ambitions and role in advancing impactful, real-world applications of AI across disciplines and sectors.

Attendees will hear from Institute leaders about how the IAAI will bring together researchers, industry and partners to address challenges and create new opportunities through applied AI.

Following the launch, , Co-Director of the IAAI, will share his personal journey of using AI in research, problem-solving and everyday professional practice including an investigation inspired by an online debate about AI-generated music.
