Hosted at Cloud 9 Massage Therapy in Des Moines HQ! Join me in discovering or deepening your understanding of Myofascial Release (MFR) and how it can become the foundation for integrating other massage techniques and understanding your client more deeply.
This two day class offers an opportunity to explore how you can integrate MFR into your own practice as well as how to combine it with other modalities such as Thai, Trigger Point, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Swedish, Deep Tissue. I will also cover various Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) techniques as well as thoroughly discuss Pin & Stretch (PNS) approaches, including my own unique addition to this work.
We do this with TONS of bodywork time and in a small group format. I only take three students in each class so the ratio is always me right there with you to guide, answer questions, and even provide the work myself!
Another aspect of this weekend class is furthering our understanding of how Emotional and Mental Stress manifest as Physical issues and how to listen and hold space for when they do.
