Step back into the Roaring Twenties, an era of glitz, glamour, gangsters, and good old-fashioned trouble. Welcome to Cherry’s Speakeasy, where the bathtub gin is strong, the dames are dazzling, and everyone’s got a secret worth killing for.
Word on the street is that the notorious Corneoli and Buttafucco crime families are gathering to settle a heated turf war. But just when the dust starts to settle, in strolls Harry Hyde, the infamous Russian mobster with a knack for making enemies—and not the forgiving kind!
Before you can say “Twenty-three skidoo!”, somebody’s been rubbed out, and the joint is crawling with suspects. Enter local constable Doyle Lonnegan, determined to crack the case before another poor sap winds up sleeping with the fishes.
Rub elbows with a colorful cast of shady characters, including Red E. Mix, the local concrete salesman; Trixie, the captivating proprietor of Cherry’s; and a whole lineup of wise guys, flappers, and bootleggers.
But the million-dollar question remains: Who put the finger on Harry Hyde?
