Five years after the devastating Vampire–Werewolf War, the undead world is fractured and fragile. “The Turning” — once a sacred Ascension — has twisted into a perilous annual rite where humans gamble everything for a chance at immortality. Last year’s ritual ended in bloodshed, an Elder slain, and a hierarchy in ruins.
