The MCC Peace Conference is an invitation to step away from the usual, to gather with others and to make space for the questions, tensions and hopes we carry about peace.Nourish peace together
On Saturday, November 7, come hungry - for connection, meaning and practical ways to resist despair in a world that feels overwhelming. MCC Ontario is hosting an in-person event for people who don’t have everything figured out but who want to build peace.
Together, we’ll:
* Learn how to practice peace in everyday life
* Hear from courageous people pursuing justice, reconciliation and care in hard places
* Share food, stories and space
* Take action, like knotting comforters and sending advocacy letters, to remind us we’re not powerless
This gathering is for people with faith, questions or both.
Looking for community that feels grounded, imperfect and real? Are you ready to spark hope that sustains action?
Come as you are. Come for the whole day, or for the parts that work for you. Leave a little more nourished.
Costs
The suggested contribution is $60 to help cover costs of food, rentals, speaker costs, but you are welcome to pay what you can from $0 and up. No explanation needed.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
