Welcome to Amelia Island, Florida, for The Amelia Concours and adjacent events!
Join us at Salt Life Food Shack on Friday, March 5, at 5:30 p.m., in Fernandina Beach, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Southern Stars Chapter has reserved the upper deck for the by-invitation private MBCA event. There is a full bar, dining tables, lounge seating with a firepit, and it is accessed by an elevator. The event is reserved for MBCA Members and their guest(s).
This event is officially the 2027 Friday dinner for MBCA Members in the area to attend events at The Amelia. This is a collaboration between 2026 national Director at Large, David Wommer, Southern Stars Chapter, and MBCA.

NOTES:
1. Please email your interest in attending directly to [email protected] and include your Mercedes-Benz Chapter, member number, and the number and names of guests for a name lanyard for any guests you would like to bring, so we can estimate the expected number of guests.
2. The reservation BEGINS at 5:30 p.m., not 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. We have a three-hour window beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please let the Salt Life team prepare for us as scheduled. The upper deck will open for us at 5:30 p.m. If you would like a beverage or an appetizer before the social, please see the bartender on the first floor. We will likely have 90-100 guests; please be patient and do not rush the staff.
This will help the restaurant plan for our crowd size and deliver great service. We will send a follow-up email about a month before the event to ensure plans remain current. We do have a maximum number of guests. If plans change and you can no longer attend after emailing your intent, please email us to let us know so we can move others off the wait list.
3. This is across the parking area from the anticipated Classic Motorsports Magazine's "Amelia Island Kickoff", where Mercedes-Benz Club of America is an official Featured Club.
Have you submitted your classic or modern Mercedes-Benz for consideration for the Amelia Island Kickoff?

4. Responding to this Facebook event as GOING will not put your name on the guest list.
5. It will be a busy day for everyone, especially the hospitality staff. We have the privilege of this beautiful location every year; let's be great guests! The hospitality staff and management have taken very good care of us for years, and we greatly appreciate them!
Cordially,
David Wommer
