🚗 MBC KENT – AN EVENING WITH SCENIC CAR TOURS📅 Wednesday 21 October 2026 | 6.15 to 7.45pm
📍 St Luke’s Parish Room, Chiddingstone Causeway, Tonbridge TN11 8JJ
We’re delighted to welcome Kieron Line, Senior Group Liaison Manager at Scenic Car Tours, to our October Kent meeting for a special evening dedicated to one of the great pleasures of Mercedes-Benz ownership getting out on the road and touring!
Whether you’ve toured Europe many times, are thinking about taking your Mercedes abroad for the first time, or simply fancy hearing about some great roads and destinations, this should be a really enjoyable and informative evening.
Kieron will cover:
· Scenic Car Tours and their sister brand, Backwater Car Tours how their organised tours work
· The pleasures and occasional challenges of European car touring
· Some of the destinations and touring experiences available
· What you can expect on an organised car tour
· Advice for first-time European tourers
· Planning, preparation and making the most of your Mercedes while travelling
☕ Coffee, cake and plenty of time for questions
Following Kieron’s presentation, we’ll have coffee and cake, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and chat informally with Kieron and, hopefully, some of his Scenic Car Tours colleagues.
We’re hoping for 30+ members to make this a lively and sociable evening, so please support the event if you can.
❓ GOT A QUESTION?
If there’s something you’d particularly like Kieron to cover routes, hotels, ferries, driving abroad, breakdown cover, insurance, what to pack, let us know beforehand and we’ll pass your questions on.
🍽️ DINNER AFTERWARDS – 8.00pm
For anyone who would like to keep the conversation going, we’re planning an informal group self funded meal at The Little Brown Jug, just across the road, at 8.00pm following the meeting.
Mercedes-Benz Club members
The event is open to Mercedes-Benz Club members, with places available through the Club Events page.

Not an MBC member yet but would like to come along?
We have a limited number of places available for non-members who would like to come along, meet us and experience one of the many benefits of being part of the Mercedes-Benz Club.
If you’re interested, leave a comment below and I’ll add you to the guest list, subject to availability.
A great opportunity to meet other Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts, talk cars and touring, pick up some useful advice and perhaps start planning where you and your Mercedes might be heading next.
See you there!
