Sharing women’s stories can uplift, educate, and inspire. Gather your female friends, of all ages, and meet us in Chelsea at Zou Zou's (after hours) to be inspired by the personal journey stories of powerful, purposeful women. Limited $30 tickets include mocktails, munchies, and a fun, facilitated activity at every event. (Scholarship tickets are always available for young women/women in transition - contact [email protected] to be added to an event.)
Sept 17: Chelsea native Erin Knott is the Executive Director at Equality Michigan, an organization that educates and advocates to change Michigan laws and address issues that disproportionately impact LGBTQ+ lives. Erin is a powerful progressive activist, who has dedicated herself to championing social and economic justice and equality for all.
Oct 15: Alex Masten & Amanda Loveland make up two of the three powerhouse women behind Jackson County's Michigan Tribe, a community-driven organization supporting female entrepreneurs and women business owners through events, education, and access to funding opportunities. Alex is the Director of Entrepreneur Services at Lean Rocket Lab. Amanda is the Executive Director of Jackson School of the Arts.
Nov 24: Tammy Coxen is the founder and Online Event Coordinator of Tammy’s Tastings. Since 2011 she has been teaching interactive hands-on cocktail classes to individuals, groups, and companies for events ranging from parties to corporate team building. She is the co-author of the cocktail book Cheers to Michigan, was co-host of a regular cocktail segment on Michigan Radio (her local NPR affiliate), and has written for Hour Detroit magazine and other publications.
