What to Expect:
Attendees 65 years of age and older are invited to connect with local vendors specializing in senior care and safety, take advantage of health screenings offered on-site by the Novant Health Screening Bus beginning at 12pm, and hear valuable tips and resources during a panel discussion featuring representatives from Matthews Police Department, Matthews Fire & EMS, and Novant Health.
Leave with helpful information, practical safety tips, and local resources to support your health and well-being.
Panel Discussion Topics:
- Matthews Police Department will discuss home and personal safety tips.
- Matthews Fire & EMS will discuss fire safety in the home with a hands-on demonstration.
- Novant Health will demonstrate basic CPR techniques and discuss fall prevention
